The Grand Hotel Reykjavik provided their winning services for world record-breaking paralympic athletes during the 2009 IPC Swimming European Championships, held between 18th-24th October.
The Grand Hotel Reykjavik accommodated this years record-breaking paralympic athletes during the 2009 IPC Swimming European Championships. Throughout the seven day event, a combined 73 European records and a staggering 24 world records were shattered.
From the hotels opening in 1995, Sjalfsbjorg, the national federation for physically disabled people in Iceland, presented the Grand Hotel Reykjavik with it’s own gold medal for its exceptional wheelchair facilities and accommodation.
Each one of fifteen superb wheelchair friendly rooms provides each guest with the treatment and grandeur of a champion.
