Iceland cruise ship schedule sees MSC Poesia in Hafnarfjordur

Port of HafnarfjordurThe luxury MSC Poesia cruise ship docked in the Port of Hafnarfjordur, Iceland recently and became the largest ship ever to dock in the harbour. The cruise was also the first to arrive in Hafnarfjordur for the summer season.

The fishing village of Hafnarfjordur is Iceland’s third-largest town, built in a lava field just a 10 minute drive from the capital city, Reykjavik. With numerous bike events taking place nationwide mingle trend conducted a representative survey to ask Brits if they would consider riding a bike or walking for everyday transport as opposed to a car in order to protect the environment.

Reassuringly almost a third claimed to already ride a bike or walk on a regular basis and another third said they would consider it. The findings of the study for the period of January- March 2010 was released by Mr. K. Pandia Rajan, CEO, Ma Foi Randstad (India & Sri Lanka), at a press conference held in the city today. Ma Foi Randstad is the leading integrated HR services provider in the country and has been conducting the employment trends survey since 2004. This study is India’s largest job market study.

In March 2010, Ma Foi Randstad predicted creation of 1 million jobs in the year 2010.The latest projection for the period of April to June (Q2) and estimates of actual job creation in January to March 2010 (Q1) for the organized sector was arrived at, after surveying the employment trends in 650 companies across 13 industry sectors in eight major cities – Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. Inspired By IcelandTuristkampanjen Inspired By Iceland ble i dag en verdensnyhet etter at den islandske regjeringen oppmuntret hele nasjonen til å samles på internett i én time, for å støtte landet og turismen. Denne store begivenheten fant sted i dag mellom 14.00-15.00 GMT. Det store flertallet av de 320 000 innbyggerne var på internett og sendte beskjeder til venner rundt omkring i verden, og inviterte de på besøk til Island.

Inspired By Iceland, kan oversettes til (Inspirert av Island) og er ment for å bidra til å øke Islands turisme etter at antall besøkende falt etter Eyjafjallajokull vulkanutbruddet.
