Safestyle launches new Sliding Sash Window

DOUBLE glazing giant Safestyle UK has launched its latest window product by reviving a classic design and giving it a modern twist.

The company believes its new Sliding Sash Window will go down a storm with householders who prefer to retain a more vintage yet modern look in their homes.

Safestyle bosses are predicting the Georgian style, teamed with the contemporary slide-and-tilt design, could make it a best seller in 2011.

A spokesman for Safestyle UK said: “If your home has sash windows, you know how much value and character they can add to your property.”

“Our new Sliding Sash Window captures the classic and stylish look of a traditional sliding window, while benefiting from all the features that contemporary uPVC provides.”

The Sliding Sash Window comes in three colours ‘rosewood, oak or white’ and customers can choose from white, gold or chrome fittings. There is also an Astragal Bar option for an even more traditional look.

The windows are filled with Argon gas and extremely energy efficient. They also feature triple brush seals for outstanding draft elimination and are very low maintenance with the slide-and-tilt mechanism making them easy to clean.

The Safestyle spokesman added: “We think the Georgian styling creates a visually stunning frame which is perfectly sculptured and we are confident the windows will add both value and character to people’s homes.”

Bosses at Safestyle UK have been reinforcing how important it is to conserve heat and keep warm during the winter months. It recently launched its super energy-efficient A-rated Eco Diamond Window to help customers prevent heat loss from their homes. The British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) measures energy efficiency from A to G, with A being the most efficient.

Safestyle UK has become the biggest independent provider of top-quality uPVC double glazing in Britain, with over 40 nationwide branches.

The company is also renowned for its cult television adverts starring a host of TV stars, and recently launched a new wave of ads featuring former Coronation Street star Ken Morley and Jeff  ‘Window Man’ Brown.
