The trade mission of IMC–Jordan organized a specialized workshop in UAE titled “Business Integration” demonstrating a wide array of consulting services that enhance organizations’ performance.
Conducted under the patronage and presence of the Ambassador of Jordan to the UAE, H.E. Mr. Nayyef Zeidan, the workshop is considered part of the trade mission, organized by IMC–Jordan and funded by the European Union in cooperation with Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO), aiming at developing the management consulting sector and strengthening its services’ exporting possibilities regionally.
H.E. Mr. Nayyef Zeidan stated that conducting this workshop in Abu Dhabi is a clear sign of the Jordanian – Emirati strong ties in various domains, established and supported by His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
H.E. reaffirmed the importance of training and consulting as one of the most prominent solutions to unemployment in the Arab World, illustrating that the significance of this sector lies in its ability to enhance a country’s productivity and subsequently strengthen its economy.
From her side, IMC-Jordan Chairperson – Ms. Tamara Abdel-Jaber said that the trade mission included various activities such as workshops and B2B meetings between Emirati and Jordanian delegates.
Titled “Business Integration”, the workshop aimed at introducing IMC- Jordan and its services, introducing the management consulting and training sector to the Emirati Market represented by a Jordanian delegation, and demonstrating the standards and guidelines of both management consultants and trainers as well as the beneficiaries of the sector’s services.
Additionally, the workshop aimed at increasing the level of awareness regarding the importance of management consulting and its role in developing businesses, and creating mutual and strong business channels and opportunities between the two countries.
“The workshop is considered a part of the trade mission organized by IMC–Jordan to enhance the ties between its members and business partners on one side and the Emirati business sectors who are interested in the Management Consulting and Training services on the other side. It allowed us a chance to introduce IMC-Jordan, its objectives, and programs that would help in increasing the competitive edge,” state IMC–Jordan Executive Director, Reema Nasser.
During the workshop, which included networking sessions, delegates’ presentations, and B2B meetings, the trade mission exhibited the comprehensive occupational standards for the management consulting and training sector and all stakeholders, in addition to two criteria documents titled “Best Practices” and “Benefits of Management Consulting” drafted by IMC – Jordan.
It is worth mentioning that IMC–Jordan is the only ICMCI member in the MENA region. They offer various activities, including qualifying and training programs, upgrading the management consulting and training professions, training of management consultants, define standards and regulations, and create a members database.
