Is Hamilton Moving to Mercedes?

After allegedly holding talks with Lewis Hamilton, 2008 Formula 1 World Champion, Mercedes are set to test the strength of his long and sometimes awkward relationship with McLaren by offering him a place on their team.

The management team of Lewis Hamilton have denied talks but several sources seem to think otherwise.

Lewis Hamilton’s five year contract with McLaren is due to expire at the end of this year and with Michael Schumacher probably retiring for a second time at the same time, there may be a place for Lewis Hamilton, where the seven times world champion has left off.

Lewis Hamilton appears to have a strained relationship with McLaren so that is certainly one reason that he may want to move to Mercedes. A McLaren spokesman said recently “We’ve been told by Lewis Hamilton’s management team that the story is untrue” yet Mercedes were not willing to comment on this speculation.

Talking to the team at UK New Cars, they understand the appeal of the Mercedes brand. They build great cars which are very popular with a wide range of age groups. Mercedes is a sign of elegance and certainly no longer an ‘old mans car’. With Mercedes you are buying a refined car that has evolved over years into the pinnacle of style, technology and comfort. Mercedes cars are full of charisma and charm that many believe no other car manufacturer comes close to.

UK New Cars advise that Mercedes is one of their most popular brands, and they have very recently managed to secure extra discounts for new Mercedes cars registered by the end of September 2012. One example of this is the new Mercedes C180 Executive SE Saloon now being priced at £21,727 on the road, representing a saving of £4,188!

UK New Cars offer a huge range of makes and models including Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Audi, VW and many more. They also offer a flexible range of payment methods including Outright Purchase, PCP Finance, Hire Purchase and Personal or Business Contract Hire.
