It’s no secret that when a house needs to sell fast, it will need a little extra TLC. Michael Rosenblum, River North’s number one broker and ranked in the top 1% of Chicago Brokers, toast 2013 by offering his secret tricks of the trade on styling and staging so clients may sell their house fast this year.
Rosenblum will host an exclusive “Styling and Staging” Chicago real estate seminar with Snaidero Kitchen + Designs on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at The Montgomery (550 West Superior) at 5:30pm. RSVP to Alicia@michaelrosenblumpresents.com.
Some of Rosenblum’s real estate tips and tricks will include:
Clean House. Two parts: Remove all excessive furniture and belongings that you do not plan to take and hire a cleaning company to shine up the property. Best question to ask when you’ve done this activity- if I came into this house would I buy it?
Arrange Your Belongings. Depending on your room size, pull furniture away from the walls and float in the room. Create the feel that you have walking space and an airy environment. Tidy up papers and lose items by acquiring inexpensive and eye catching baskets.
Limit Personal Photography. A natural habit of most home buyers is to study the homeowners pictures and instead, they should focus more on the property for sale. Removing excessive photographs provides a clear path of focus for the potential buyer.
Add a Splash of Color. This is an inexpensive way to create a fresh, exciting look to any space. If you’re unsure on the color, get a book on birds. Mother nature knows color matching better than any designer.
Reflections Make a Difference. Mirrors enlarge space, light up any room and change the dimensional and perspective of any space.
