Students work part-time in top organizations while pursuing WLCI’s ‘Professional Programme in Business Management’ .They gain relevant experience and also earn a handsome stipend.
The College has introduced a unique on-the-job training program known as the ‘Traineeship Advantage’ which enables students to work with reputed firms on a part-time basis and gain relevant experience alongside the business management course. This training enables students to earn a substantial amount of stipend during their course. WLCI has partnered with over 400 firms for providing students on-the-job training. Some of the partnered firms are Reliance Money, ING Vyasa, Morgan Stanley, INTEL, ITC Ltd., J M Financials, Madura Garments, Lifestyle, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra Finance and Bajaj Capital.
Some of the students who have got on-the-job training are P. Vanitha, who will work with COCA- COLA and will get an annual stipend of Rs.1,44,000.00 , Nupur Mohanty will work at Satyam and will get an annual stipend of 1,20,000.00 , Pankaj kumar A Sharma will work at HDFC Bank and receive a yearly stipend of Rs.1,02,000.00 . Nilesh V. kapale has got traineeship placement with HCL Infosystems and is getting an annual package of Rs. 84,000.00. Niranjan Bangari has got placement with the Aditya Birla group and he’ll be getting an annual stipend of Rs. 72,000.00.
It is noteworthy that this training precedes the placements that students are provided in top organizations after completion of the business management course.
