2012 got off to a furry happy start on 3rd January as a staggering 926 pets, more than ever before, travelled to and from the Continent on Eurotunnel Le Shuttle. As the Christmas break drew to a close, the pets and their owners, from all corners of the world, smashed the previous record of 762, which was set back in January 2010.

Passengers included Eurotunnel Le Shuttle’s first customers from Rio de Janeiro. Family cats Tiggy, Tiguinho, Tabitha, Clarinha and their owners, Peter and Erondina Napthine travelled from Rio to the UK to begin a new life in Plymouth.
