<p>The Icelandair package tour allows passengers to explore the breathtaking landscape that surrounds the capital city as well as doing some sight seeing and shopping in the downtown area.<span id="more-3048"></span></p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.icelandair.co.uk/offers-and-bookings/book-packages/package/item367287/Iceland_Highlights_City_Break/">Iceland tour</a> begins with a trip to some Reykjavik landmarks then heads to the countryside to visit Geysir and Gullfoss. Furthermore, Icelandair passengers who travel between January and March 2011 have the opportunity to book a Northern Lights tour with a discount of 50 percent.</p>
<p>The Reykjavik Highlights City Break must be booked before January 5th, and the travel period expires at the end of April 2011.</p>

<p>Icelandair stopover passengers can experience the bubbling hot springs of Geysir, the historic beauty of Thingvellir and the breathtaking sight of the Gullfoss waterfall, especially when the water turns into Ice during the depths of winter.<span id="more-3010"></span></p>
<p>Additionally, transatlantic passengers chosing to stopover in Iceland can explore the moon-like landscape of the Reykjanes peninsula filled with lava fields, volcanoes and craters or to the south coast to uncover it’s black sand beaches, waterfalls and glaciers.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.icelandair.co.uk">Flights from Glasgow</a> with Icelandair will be continuing with four flights to Iceland per week operating on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.</p>
