Winter flights to Iceland for city break in Reykjavik with Icelandair

Icelandair is offering people the chance to get away with the Reykjavik Highlights City Break. The Reykjavik city break holiday package presents holiday-goers with everything they need, including flights, accommodation and the Iceland Highlights tour.

The Icelandair package tour allows passengers to explore the breathtaking landscape that surrounds the capital city as well as doing some sight seeing and shopping in the downtown area.

The Iceland tour begins with a trip to some Reykjavik landmarks then heads to the countryside to visit Geysir and Gullfoss. Furthermore, Icelandair passengers who travel between January and March 2011 have the opportunity to book a Northern Lights tour with a discount of 50 percent.

Icelandair continues Glasgow airport service with transatlantic flights via Iceland

Icelandair is continuing its Glasgow airport service with transatlantic flights to the U.S. connecting via Iceland. This allows passengers to experience the magic of Iceland with a stopover holiday.

Icelandair stopover passengers can experience the bubbling hot springs of Geysir, the historic beauty of Thingvellir and the breathtaking sight of the Gullfoss waterfall, especially when the water turns into Ice during the depths of winter.

The new flights to Minneapolis schedule by Icelandair is set to reopen between May 11th and October 9th, in time for the summer in Iceland. These flights will also be on a daily basis between June 13th and August 22nd to Minneapolis’ St. Paul airport.
