Asbru Enterprise Park: business opportunities in an innovative environment

Asbru Enterprise Park is located on the former NATO defence area in Keflavik, Iceland. When the U.S. Military left the area, Kadeco, Keflavik Airport Development Company, was established with the task of converting the base and its facilities into area for civilian use. Iceland enterprise park set to open bariatric and weight loss surgery facility

asbru_iceland_19A new hospital facility specialising in bariatric surgery and weight loss surgery is preparing to undergo developments in the second quarter of 2010 at the Asbru Enterprise Park in Iceland.

The hospital will accommodate around 35 hospital beds, three operating theatres and have ability of treating up to 4,000 patients per year. The hospital facility at the Asbru Enterprise Park, situated near Keflavik International Airport, will specialise in weight loss surgery, bariatric surgery and gastric bypass surgery.

New medical tourism and health care centre to be opened in Iceland

stethoscope64A planned health care centre, intended to push Iceland as a key destination for cosmetic surgery and medical tourism, is set to being construction in the second quarter of 2010 at the Asbru Enterprise Park, Keflavik.

The proposed health care centre will specialise in fat-removal and joint replacements, amongst other medical treatments. The centre will also have to capability of treating up to 4,000 patients per year, housing around 35 hospital beds and three operating theatres.

Health tourism gets healthy boost in Iceland

The Asbru Innovation Centre is located on the former NATO base right next to Keflavik International Airport, the busiest airport in Iceland.
