Following a nationwide hunt throughout the summer, four UK models have been picked to star in a series of postcards depicting adventure activities in the Northern Norway region.
The Northern Norway Postcard Models competition, which was hosted on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/postcardmodels), advertised on the London underground and in UK print publications, attracted over 3,500 photo submissions and 11,000 votes from May to July 2010. » Read more: Visit Norway reveals four new faces of Northern Norway
Alternative fuel sources for transport, including electricity and biofuels, are fast adapting how we fuel our vehicles and also positively affecting our wallets and the planet. The Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden are taking a leading role in the field – a fact which will be highlighted at the fast-approaching Driving Sustainability conference in Reykjavík this month.
