The Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) is making preparations for its 7th consecutive year of showcasing independent films in the heart of Iceland’s capital city, Reykjavik.

The annual Iceland arts festival is this year celebrating its 40th anniversary. Proceedings begin on May 12th and will be taking place at numerous locations in the heart of downtown Reykjavik until June 5th. This year’s program offers a range of concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, dances and operas with over 60 events from Icelandic artists and additional artists from abroad.
